So I got a fun new weekend job and it was featured in the NY Times for Valentine's Day.  I've become a bit of an ava-tard, so for me.. i'm just hoping for a glowing weeping willow tree for the big v-day.  fingers crossed!!

blooming bloomers!

terrible photo but you get the idea.
matching top to come.

these bros are really harshing my mellow right now.  the bad news is, as of right now, they'll be going to trial 2 blocks from my house.  the good news is the trials may be moved, i have my fingers crossed..

the part i enjoy the most is where it reads, "Police estimated that the cost to the city would be more than $200 million per year in a trial that could last several years and that 2,000-plus checkpoints would need to be installed around Lower Manhattan."

Bah Humbug.

Family road trip/hang out this weekend was a complete
success.  States visited since Thursday: Maryland,
West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana and New Jersey..
now i'm headed over to Philadelphia.  That makes 7,
that has to be some sort of record.

I bought these pants from a thrift store
in Brooklyn: $2.50 for 5lbs of clothes..
so I'm guessing these pants cost me about
50 cents.

I made the waistband smaller (you have
to take it off, make it smaller and then
taper the top of the pants to fix the
new sized waistband), lengthened the
legs and tapered them.

they're 100% merino wool, so they're super
soft and fully lined.

yay for slouchy trousers.
